Get started

Install Clackline on your iPhone and on each Apple TV or iPad you want as a board. Sign them all into the same Apple Account with iCloud turned on. Open the app on the iPhone first, then on the TV. Anything you send from the phone flips onto the TV.

My Apple TV doesn’t show my boards

On the Apple TV, open Settings › Users and Accounts and check it is signed into the same Apple Account as your iPhone, with iCloud on. Then open Clackline on the iPhone and the TV again. A new TV can take a minute to receive your boards.

Weather shows “Needs your location”

On iPhone, tap Allow under the board, or turn location on for Clackline in Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services. On Apple TV, press play/pause and choose Weather. Your location is only used for the forecast and never leaves your devices except to ask Apple Weather.

Clackline Plus

Clackline is free for one board on every screen. Clackline Plus adds more boards, live feeds, schedules, several timers, the Seamless look and every sound pack. One purchase covers every iPhone, iPad and Apple TV on your Apple Account, and your family through Family Sharing.

Restore a purchase: Settings › Clackline Plus › Restore purchases on iPhone, or the Clackline Plus row in the Apple TV panel.

Cancel a subscription: on iPhone, Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Clackline Plus. Cancel at least 24 hours before it renews. Nothing on your boards is deleted; they go back to the free board until you subscribe again.

Try “Post to Clackline”, “Show the Kitchen board in Clackline” or “Start a ten minute timer in Clackline”.
