Celsia Support

Celsia is a perimenopause and HRT tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch. It reads what your Watch already records, keeps a log of your symptoms and treatments, and makes a report for your appointments. Here is how the main parts work and what to do when something looks off.

Why Celsia asks for Apple Health

So you never have to type what your iPhone and Apple Watch already know. With your permission, Celsia reads your sleep, heart rate variability, resting and overnight heart rate, wrist temperature, symptoms, menstrual flow and spotting if you track bleeding, and, on iOS 27, the stage you set in Apple Health. It writes the symptoms and bleeding you log back to Apple Health, so Apple Health stays your one record. Apple Health data never leaves this iPhone. Nothing is sent to us.

Celsia works without it. You log symptoms, bleeding, treatments and doses yourself, reminders still arrive, and the report is made from what you log. What's missing is what your Watch records, such as sleep, heart rate and wrist temperature. You can change what Celsia may read or write at any time in Settings › Apps › Health › Data Access & Devices › Celsia.

Wrist temperature is missing

Not every Apple Watch measures wrist temperature. If yours doesn't, Celsia leaves temperature out and everything else still works. On a Watch that does, the reading is taken while you sleep, so wear the Watch to bed with sleep tracking on. A night without the Watch has no reading, and a new Watch takes a few nights before it reports one.

Logging from the Lock Screen, Control Center or Apple Watch

Lock Screen: touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, choose the Lock Screen, then tap the widget area and add Celsia's hot flash widget. One tap on it logs a hot flash.

Control Center: open Control Center, tap + at the top left, tap Add a Control and search for Celsia.

Apple Watch: install Celsia from the Watch app on your iPhone, then open Celsia on your iPhone once so the two connect. On the Watch, tap to log a hot flash or night sweats, or add a Celsia complication to your watch face. What you log on the Watch comes back to your iPhone.

You can also ask Siri, "Log a hot flash in Celsia." Each hot flash you log also appears in Apple Health, if you've allowed Celsia to write there.

Making a report for an appointment

Open the Report tab: page one is already built from your logs. Add your questions, then tap Share with your provider. It's one page your provider can read in thirty seconds, and you can share, print or save it from the share sheet. The PDF is made on your iPhone. Reports you keep are saved on your iPhone and included in your own iPhone backup, like any document; otherwise a report leaves your iPhone only when you share it yourself.

The one-page report is free. Celsia Pro adds pages with every symptom, dose and note, and keeps your whole report history.

Exporting or deleting everything

In Celsia, Settings › Export everything makes a copy of what you've entered, and your reports, for you to save or send. Your reports include summaries of your Apple Health data; Apple Health's own records stay in Apple Health.

Settings › Delete everything erases everything Celsia keeps on your iPhone. It can't be undone, so export first if you want a copy. Symptoms and bleeding Celsia saved to Apple Health stay there; delete them in the Health app if you want them gone.

Restoring Celsia Pro

Celsia Pro is an optional in-app purchase: $39.99 a year with a 14-day free trial, or $6.99 a month. Logging, the therapy log, reminders, widgets, the Apple Watch app, the one-page report, what changed after your latest dose change, and exporting everything you’ve entered stay free.

New iPhone, or reinstalled Celsia? In Celsia, open Settings and tap Restore purchases under Celsia Pro, signed in to the Apple Account you subscribed with. Cancel a subscription in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions at least 24 hours before it renews.

Celsia Pro works with Family Sharing: when someone in your family group subscribes, Pro unlocks for you too, and your own Celsia data stays on your iPhone. If it doesn't show, tap Restore purchases.

Medical advice and urgent help

Celsia doesn't give medical advice; for urgent symptoms contact your provider, and if you're thinking about harming yourself call or text 988. In the US, 988 is the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, free at any time. In an emergency, call 911.
