Overview

This privacy policy describes how Doing, an app made by Apex Made, LLC, handles information you provide while using it. It applies only to Doing; other Apex Made apps each have their own policy.

What we collect

Apex Made does not collect or receive any of your data. Your tasks, streak, and preferences are stored on your device.

Third parties

None. Doing uses no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party services or SDKs. The app makes no network requests of its own — the only data that leaves your device is iCloud sync, described below, which runs entirely on Apple's infrastructure.

iCloud sync

Doing syncs your tasks and streak via iCloud Key-Value storage so your lists stay the same across your devices. Synced data lives in your personal iCloud account under Apple's privacy policy. Apex Made does not have access to your iCloud data. If you are not signed into iCloud, everything simply stays on the device.

Siri & Shortcuts

If you add tasks by voice ("Add a task to Doing") or through Shortcuts, Spotlight, or the Action Button, your request is handled by Apple's Siri and App Intents on your device under Apple's terms. The app receives only the task text and stores it locally, the same as a task you type. Apex Made does not receive it.

Widgets

Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets read your tasks from the app's shared on-device storage to display them and to mark them done. Nothing leaves your device.

Notes

Everything in the app ships inside the app. Your tasks never pass through Apex Made or any server.
If you email us feedback, we receive your email address and message and use them only to respond.

Data retention & deletion

Data stored on your device stays on your device until you delete the app or clear its data from iOS Settings. Synced copies live in your personal iCloud account. To request deletion of any data we may hold, email hello@apexmade.ai.

Children’s privacy

Doing is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app.
