Overview

This privacy policy describes how Attune, an app made by Apex Made, LLC, handles information you provide while using it. It applies only to Attune; other Apex Made apps each have their own policy.

What we collect

• Your profile — name, identity labels, your "why", north-star phrase, people you add (names, roles, notes), tone preferences, and hard limits. It is stored on your device. If you choose "Write for me", it is sent with each request so Claude can write for you specifically. If you choose "Keep it on my iPhone", it never leaves your device.
• Mood selections and any text you type into "Inspire me", sent with a request only when Claude is writing.
• Nothing else. No account, no analytics or tracking SDKs, no advertising identifiers.

Third parties

• Anthropic, PBC — provides the Claude API that writes lines when you choose "Write for me". Your request is sent to Anthropic via our proxy. Anthropic does not train on data submitted through their API per their commercial terms. See Anthropic's privacy policy at https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
• Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts the proxy that holds our Anthropic API key and forwards your request. To stop abuse, the proxy counts requests from each IP address: a per-minute count that expires after two minutes, and a daily count that is deleted two days later. It keeps nothing else. Cloudflare may process request metadata as part of standard hosting. See Cloudflare's privacy policy at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Apple Health

Attune 1.0.1 and later don't use Apple Health. Attune 1.0 could, if you granted permission, write a Mindful Minutes session to Apple Health at the end of each silence session; it never read any data from Apple Health, and that data stayed in your local Health app, not on any Apex Made server. Version 1.0.1 removed it. Sessions already written stay in Health until you delete them there.

Apple Watch

Your iPhone sends today's line straight to your paired Apple Watch over Apple's Watch Connectivity, for the Watch app and its complication. Nothing goes through a server.

Widgets

The Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show your current line from a shared container on your device. Nothing leaves your device to power them.

Notifications

Morning and evening notifications are optional local notifications, scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. From Attune 1.0.1 each one carries a line: the evening one repeats today's line, the morning one brings the next line from Attune's own collection. Nothing is written or sent to make them, no push servers are involved, and turning them off removes them completely.

Sharing

Share cards — including your handwritten signature, if you added one — are rendered on your device. Nothing is shared until you choose a destination in the iOS share sheet.

Notes

• Attune ships its own collection of 246 lines, so the home screen works instantly and offline. With "Write for me", a line of the day is written when you open the app or change mood, and "Inspire me" lines are written when you ask.
• Our proxy forwards your request and does not store your prompt text or the lines it writes; your line history lives only on your device.
• We do not require an account. The app authenticates to our proxy with a shared secret built into the app, not a user identifier.

Data retention & deletion

Data stored on your device stays on your device until you delete the app or clear its data from iOS Settings. To request deletion of any data we may hold, email hello@apexmade.ai.

Children’s privacy

Attune is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app.
