Overview

This privacy policy describes how Attune, an app made by Apex Made, LLC, handles information you provide while using it. It applies only to Attune; other Apex Made apps each have their own policy.

What we collect

Mood selections, keywords, and any text you type into "Inspire me".
Names and context you choose to add for personalized quote cards.

Third parties

Anthropic, PBC — provides the Claude API that generates each quote. Your prompt text is sent to Anthropic via our proxy. Anthropic does not train on data submitted through their API per their commercial terms. See Anthropic's privacy policy at https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts the proxy that holds our Anthropic API key and forwards your request. Cloudflare may process request metadata as part of standard hosting. See Cloudflare's privacy policy at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Apple Health

If you grant permission, Attune writes a Mindful Minutes session to Apple Health at the end of each silence session. Attune does not read any data from Apple Health. Health data is stored only in your local Health app, not on any Apex Made server.

Notes

Attune ships ~140 public-domain quotes locally, so the home screen works offline. Generated quotes only happen when you tap to refresh or use "Inspire me".
We do not require an account. The app authenticates to our proxy with a shared secret baked into the build, not a user identifier.

Data retention & deletion

Data stored on your device stays on your device until you delete the app or clear its data from iOS Settings. To request deletion of any data we may hold, email hello@apexmade.ai.

Children’s privacy

Attune is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app.
